free trade agreement CETA. The content of this 1500 page document
has only been published recently. No wonder, because just like with
TTIP, the negotiations were carried out in strict exclusion of the public
and without parliamentary oversight. Just like with TTIP, the treaty
guarantees the corporation’s access to 500 million customers in the EU.
And just like with TTIP our country could face lawsuits and compensation payments in the billions, because CETA gives the corporations also the possibility, to sue countries like Austria in supranational courts.
The international investors only have to allege that local laws

jargon is out of the question, for that most of them lack the
necessary knowledge and also the time to read the document.
The vote on September 25th 2014 determines the tempo and the
treaty document has only been on the table for a few days. That
does not foreshadow anything good. While some higher-ranking
Politicians publicly speak out against the US free trade agreement,
some more, others less, one lets CETA enter through the back door.
“Catch the thief” is the motto, while one – cleverly and
boldly – rubberstamps what one pretends to be against.
Fact is: Our Politicians do not want to perceive
reality and no longer are able to do so!
Even though the overwhelming majority of the European citizens
are against this kind of “free trade agreement”, it is pushed through
with all force. If CETA or TTIP, these treaties are directed against
the citizens, exploit people, lead countries into bankruptcy, and
cement the status and power of global corporations.
This is of no concern to our Representatives, otherwise
the silence and inaction related to this issue, which is of
vital importance for generations, cannot be explained. It is
totally insignificant, if this indifference is based on ignorance
or stupidity.
Because this behavior describes blatantly obvious the steadily
increasing political Hubris (Hubris (/’hju:bris, also hybris, from
ancient Greek) means extreme pride or self-confidence. When it
offends the Gods of ancient Greece it is usually punished. Hubris
is usually perceived as a characteristic of an individual rather than
a group, although the group the offender belongs to may suffer
consequences from the wrongful act. Hubris often indicates a
loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own
competence, accomplishments or capabilities, especially when
the person exhibiting it is in a position of power. Wikipedia)
Apparently the whole leadership elite of the
political establishment has been captured by it.
How this ends can be easily predicted
from the history of mankind: Revolts,
overthrow and the removal of these
incompetent and self-addicted “People
Representatives”, because:
